Day 14 8/24/19

Day score: 9, got like 10 hours of sleep. Really really sore from the gymnastic holds yesterday and my calves are pretty tight from the AMRAP dubs.

Rings MU Skill work ~30min (spend ~5min on each drill — give me feedback on each)

-Arch / Hollow floor work (arch-hollow rolls and holds)

This was good just tried to slow things down and hold for 30s per side

-Arch / Hollow rings work (swings w/ towel b/t feet)

*Keep your lower body tight and create swing through your shoulders. Start small.

Some of these were good some felt like I somehow was diagonal. I will video next time.

TTT Throwdown

88 wall balls. This was tough, definitely not a wheelhouse workout. I was happy to get the dubs done in under a minute every round except the 4th. I didn’t break on the dumbbell power cleans. Shoulders were pretty fried by round 4 and 5 and I think that was mainly from poor jump rope positioning. Glad we are working on these. Positive note: I felt more like I was flicking my wrist by the end of this workout and not jumping as high.

Side note: found out I am a very good swimmer this afternoon at our affiliate lake party. I smoked everyone including the best athletes at our gym so that felt cool. Forgot I swam for like 4 years as a kid.
